The house

Formerly Mas Rovira was an oil mill which was restored. The house was one of the first constructions of this area when the Romans left Villauba at 1.5 km of the house and at some meters of the roman via. Today the first construction dates back to the XII Th century.

Mas Rovira is situated between Banyoles lake and the Rocacorba mountain, in middle of oaks and olive trees and under the Puig S and from where our hosts will be able to enjoy beautiful views on all the « comarcas » of Pla del Estany, of Emporda and even of Girones ; the view on Roses bay or Iles Medes is exceptional. Thus, even if quietness prevails, our hosts will be able to go to the city centre within less than five minutes.
